Comté Cheese & Apple Crostinis paired with Côtes du Rhône Wines – the most iconic duo for your party!

If you are aiming to impress your guests – try this next level appetizer – a Comté crostini & Côtes du Rhône wine pairing!

To prepare the crostini, start by slicing a baguette into individual crostinis and arranging them on a baking sheet. Brush with butter and top each piece with a slice of Comté cheese and thinly sliced Lucy Glow red apple (or any apple of your choice). Bake at 350°F for approximately seven minutes or until the cheese has slightly melted. While still warm, drizzle honey over the top and sprinkle with chopped walnuts and fresh thyme. Serve alongside your preferred Côtes du Rhône wine!

This recipe pairs exceptionally well with a white or rosé wine; however, the combination of walnuts with the cheese also makes it a fantastic choice to serve alongside a red Côtes du Rhône.
