Comté Cheese & Pear Flatbread Recipe:

You will need: 1 naan bread flatbread, 4 oz Comté cheese, 2 pears, 2 sprigs fresh rosemary, 2-3 tbsp hot honey.

How to make it: Place the flatbread on a parchment-lined baking sheet. Shred the Comté cheese over the flatbread and add thinly sliced pears. Top with chopped rosemary. Bake at 450°F for 8 minutes. Drizzle generously with hot honey.

The magic happens when you pair this Comté flatbread with a glass of red, white, or rosé Côtes du Rhône wine! These two iconic French products both hold Protected Designations of Origin (PDO), a guarantee of commitment to specific terroirs, quality, and tradition. Comté cheese, with its complex, nutty, and buttery flavor, is a semi-hard raw milk cheese made in the Jura Mountains. Côtes du Rhône wines, from a historic vineyard region with roots dating back to Roman times, come in three styles—red, white, and rosé—each with its own unique character.

Connected by the Rhône River, Comté cheese and Côtes du Rhône wines don’t just complement each other; they enhance each other. Tasting is believing!
